As you walk past the Flower Meadow, the flowers seem to disappear from the landscape and thick grass, tainted with a little blue coloring to it, replaces the flowers. "It took me a long time to make this place the way it is. Here I hope to keep the more fragile creatures", he tells you. You look around and notice that it's unusually empty, considering how many other creatures you've seen in the Flower meadow and River areas.

You look down and notice the tiniest of creatures. You point at it and Kadon smiles. "Yes, one unicorn has come to reside here for a while." he tells you as he picks her up and places her on your finger. The tiny unicorn neighs at you. "This is Kaladara, one of the smallest unicorns in the world." Kaladara settles in your hand and goes to sleep.

As you walk by you notice a shimmering chrysalis hanging from a long, thin branch that must have fallen off a tree. You point at it and ask Kadon what kind of butterfly it is from. "That's a Jewelwing faerie. Soon it will change into an adult." he tells you. Kadon walks looking up for a while, as if expecting to see something come falling from the sky...

and what do you know? Something IS falling out of the sky, or at least gliding. You can see a storm cloud covering whatever it is, then it lands. The cloud starts to disappear slowly and you can see it is a pegasus! It snorts at you and paws the ground. "This is Nacapy, controller of the weather here. He's the one who makes it rainy or snowy or windy. He is also in charge of protecting the creatures of this field." Nacapy tosses his head proudly and trots away, sparks flying from strands of mane and tail every once in a while.

A white dragon glides down from the only tree in the meadow and leans over from where he landed to watch you. He stands about five hands taller than the Emana dragon and looks quite a bit stronger. He blinks and tries to ignore you, but you seem to be too interesting to leave alone. "This is Drike, a white Basin Dragon from Sanctuary Basin. He is part of the second clutch found at the Sanctuary and has been growing fast. He is now an adult and very proud of it. He has long outgrown his old nest and has free range of the weyr and its grounds. Sanctuary Basin is a wonderful place and if you have the time, I recomend you visit it."
